Honey Pear Butter
Honey sweetened pear butter
Ingredients: 3 fresh cored and chopped Bartlett pears 1/2 c water 1 T honey 1 tsp unsalted butter 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions: In saucepan add: Pears, water, honey, butter and ground cinnamon. Cook over medium heat frequently stirring. Cook until pears are tender. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Drain pears and puree pears. Store covered in refrigerator up to 2 wks. Makes 1 pint.
Serve on toasted bread.
